The Welsh Black Cattle Society’s 18th Annual Show and Sale took place at Monmouthshire Livestock Centre, Raglan on 9th November 2019 with auctioneers J Straker, Chadwick & Sons, Abergavenny.
The sale was Sponsored by Farmers Marts, Streamline Catering, Penderyn Distillery and ‘Tynyfach’ Agriculture Contractor.
The Maiden Heifer and overall breed Champion was "Lucton Seren 40th" born 3-6-2017 from Mr & Mrs Chris and Meg & Son Henry Thorpe Yew Tree House, Lucton, Leominster, Hereford that sold for 1400Gns.

The highest price of the sale went to two animals -
Female Champion " Pelenna Lisi 2nd " born 1-9-2016 from Tudor Richard Williams Tonmawr Farm, Tonmawr, Nr Port Talbot, W. Glamorgan, sold for 1500Gns, one of two sold for 1500Gns, the highest price of sale. President Brian Thomas presented the Female trophy to Tudor Richard Williams in the sales ring.
Also selling for 1,500gns was 'Hafodesgob Mynachwen 76th' born 10-11-2016 from Gwenfair Jones & Sons, Hafod-yr-Esgob Isaf, Bala, Gwynedd.
